I think that all the various outdoor performers make EPCOT extra special so if you go when the weather is bad and they are not around , then you miss alot of the atmosphere. If you have children along then I think that using the passports and Kidcot keeps them interested whilst adults appreciate the shops etc. In the past, when we have had young teens 10-13's with us, we have given them pin-trading tasks. They start off with a very cheap pin (a couple of dollars from the outlets) and they have to exchange in each country. It means they get chatting to the cast members from the different countries. Many of the cast members wear lanyards and the youngsters have enjoyed the challenge of trying to trade-up.
