What is it about Epcot that you like Chrisj, we went once 7 years ago, it was a really cold day and we got really bored. We are thinking we should go back as lots of people on here rave about it and we seem to have missed the point!![]()
Sarah
I just think its brilliant, as we always go in the summer its always hot, the rides etc are
mostly all inside and so its easier to spend a whole day there
Also its a very educational park and we have always liked it for that reason
We are splitting it over 2 visits,
first visit we will go when the park opens, then just do the park, then go shopping or something
the next visit it will be my mums birthday, so we will arrive mid afternoon and do the world
showcase, have something to eat then watch the fireworks
Chrisj
We really will have to give it another go, I think because of the cold and our boys being really small at the time and not into anything educational we didn't get a true picture of the place.[msnsmile2]
Sarah
I think you should, we love the place as I keep saying. I think they have he perfect mix
of rides and education all in one. Both Emily and Sam loved it and Sam would normally moan
after an hour or so, but he didnt moan at all in Epcot.
All the parks are great, but for us Epcot wins hands down
Chrisj
Okay Chris you've convinced us, we'll just blame you if the kids say its boring!!!![msnwink]

I'm not sure how old your children are but ours both love doing the masks in the World Showcase. Each county has a childrens area ("Kiddiezone" or something like that) where a Cast Member from that country is available and there are lots of paper and crayons. The CM will answer all the childrens questions about the country and teach you some words. They also have these masks which the children can colour and you collect a stamp on it from every country.
A good tip is to go pre-prepared to say something in their language and you get a really good reaction [msnsmile].
Great fun and they learn a thing or two without even realising it [msnwink]
