    Annual Disney Passes

A tip for people visiting Florida more than once in a year.

We have found it cost effective to buy annual water park passes, they cost about 4 times the day pass price (around $100 each ) but you can then use them as often as you like in all the Disney water parks for 12 months.

It means you can just drop in for a couple of hours and then maybe do some shopping or have a meal, come and go as you please.

They use finger print security and they are named so you cant pass them on to other friends who may be coming.. Dam they have thought of that !!

    TIP
You can buy them at the entrance kiosk but do it at a quiet time it takes a little while to do as they require names, DOB's etc

Well worth it though if you like Disney Water Parks

We have made great use of our Annual Water Park tickets.

Our Main holiday is usually Easter and for the last few years we have purchased them when Easter was in April and Easter arrives early the next year, and we can use them again (2 main holidays for the price of 1). Timing is the key to getting the most out of them.

But even if you don't manage that go 4 times and they have paid for themselves anyway.

We have bought them for the last few years and it is great to go late afternoon on the really hot days in July and August just to cool off. If you have an annual pass you dont feel as though you are wasting a day of a Hopper pass and as you say you only have to go 4 times to get good value from them

Having just one annual pass in your party saves you having to pay for parking, just show the pass at the entrance, you can make quite a saving. It also gets you discount at some of the shops in downtown Disney.

Because we tend to go to Florida for 3+ weeks at a time, at least twice a year, we have found the premium annual passes which include all the water parks and pretty much everything else you can think of, to be great value. Worth checking them out to see if it's more cost effective for you.

We've bought annual water park passes for the last two years and have usually managed to get two holidays out of each, so you do save quite a bit if you go to the waterparks a lot. You can also let friends use them because even though they do the fingerprint thing, it is only for that day. For example if you go in the park, you do the fingerprints. If you leave the park and let somebody else use your ticket the same day then it shows up that its a different print. Somebody else could use your pass another day with no problems. I know this because we swapped them round the family just to see if it worked. If it hadn't worked we could just say we got mixed up.
