Using the Garage at your villa

I seem to remember some years ago we were told we had to put our car into the garage at our villa (think it was the tour operator who told us this). Can anyone tell me is this something you are supposed to do or is it OK to leave the car on the drive. Maybe its something that happens in certain communities as I notice that a lot of villa owners have the garage converted to a games room[?]

That is up to how hot the HOA is about keeping to the rules......we should keep cars in the garage where we are.....but no-ones does......if you are told to use the garage I would.....if not it could mean paying a fine.......

I haven't used the garage when I've stayed at a villa - just parked in the drive, but then again, we weren't told we had to. If we had been, we would have done so.

I have also visited Devils Tower and thought it an amazing place. I remember the smell of the pine trees as you walk around the base!

we put our car in the garage as
    a) its easier to get in and out in the rain
    b) it keeps it cooler out of the sun
    c) no-one knows if your in or out!

I seem to remember we had a conversation ref log cabins a while ago didn't we Chrizzy..

I am going to Yosemite and then Yellowstone in early June..can't wait. Florida later this year when the house is finished and Xmas to finish it off.

Oh and to stay with this thread, I would put the car in the garage if it was too hot outside or to make it more secure. I don't think Highgrove has a clean driveway policy..unless some one can tell me otherwise.
