Why does the water taste of fried onions?

The worst water is from Seaworld. I think it's piped straight out of Shamu's tank.

Compared to Seaworld, the Disney/Universal water is like vintage champagne !

Why do some fried onions seem watery?

Funny really as when my wife was cleaning the water fountain and the grate on the fridge she comented on how it smelt of onions!
We're one for bottled water as well.

Sorry but i think the water is just fine.

You want to try Gateshead tap water, now that is full of chemicals and does stink of fluride etc, but i still drink it.

Bottled water is for mugs, over priced and when warm no better than tap water.

We're veggies and have real problems with the vegetables you buy in US supermarkets - they are always very watery and no taste to them. Almost as if they are pumped full of water to make them look bigger.

We have a separate filtered mains faucet in the kitchen at the villa, which gets rid of the Flouride taste, although we've never really been aware of any particular bad smell.
