Has anyone ever used these? What is your opinion?

We saw them handing them out, didn't need to try them though. I suppose you just give them your glasses.

How do they know whether you're longsighted or shortsighted or don't have some other reason to wear glasses?

You have to contact them and pre arrange it before you go.

Now this is probably going to sound like a really stupid question but I'll ask it anyway

I presume the presciption goggles are for snorkelling but do they let you wear glasses whilst actually swimming with the Dolphins[?]

    Told you it was stupid

I contacted Discovery Cove asking for details and they said that they hand them out on a first come, first served basis, so it doesn't sound as though they can be pre-booked. I think you can wear your own glasses/sunglasses but they have to be securely attached. Perhaps normal glasses would fit under the goggles?

Wouldn't you get a leak round the seal- no good if there's any type of leak.
One advantage of wearing goggles if you are short sighted is that everything is enlarged underwater (due to refraction).
My sister has some prescription goggles made up in this country. I have a feeling that she managed to get them at an optician with a 2 for 1 offer but I may be wrong.

I don't wear glasses, but my friend made enquiries and was told that they need to know your prescription. I assume this means they have prescription lenses in them.

What a brilliant idea I either go without glasses and spend the whole time feeling lost even when family are only a few feet away or wear my contacts which is not the most comfortable arrangement rubbed my eye with sun tan lotion on and spent the whole morning feelin like I was looking through frosted glass must get some
