    flights for August

I have booked a villa for 9th to 23rd August and as yet have not booked any flights. Just wanted to know if anybody had any advice as to whether I should book now to make sure I get seats,as there is 5 in our party, or should I wait a few weeks to see if the price drops (Best quote I've had so far is £699 per person flying BA with 2 weeks all inclusive car hire.)
Obviously as I've booked the villa, travel dates are not flexible and I don't want to end up rowing across the Atlantic because I've left it to late and there is no seats left.[:I]
    Thanks.

Hi Treena, where would you like to fly from (ideally) and do you want to fly into Orlando International or would Sanford be an option?

August is traditionally a very busy month, personally I am suprised you were able to get seats with BA at that time. Personally I would say take them, that is not a bad price especially as it includes car hire.

I looked around for ages for cheaper flights but ended up booking with Virgin as the indirect flights were only about £50 cheaper than the direct ones.

I would book asap if your dates are fixed. You may not get much choice nearer the time. I booked flights for July/August back in January

Are flying from Garwick, getting quotes for arrival at MCO just because thats where I've always flown into but Sanford could be an option if I felt it would make that bigger price difference.

    Hi Treena,

Would have to agree with everyone else here, it would be best to go ahead and book up now, seats available will be getting more and more scarse.[msnsmile]

I think I shall take your advice Ruth, all the people I know who say wait a while must have nerves of steel
This is the first time I've actually been in charge of organising everything and it's making me a nervous wreck making sure I get everything right!

thanks for all the quick responses, deep down you know the right thing to do is book, but you have that little voice in your head[}] that says what if you check the price next week and it's dropped by £50, but thats the good thing about this forum, it puts your mind at rest
