    internet access

Just a 'pearl of wisdom' that we discovered while on holiday this time
If 10 hours is not enough online time on your holiday (from access4free) ..we find with our business - plus listening to online football matches live!!- we need more(I know, incredible isn't it?!)....you can get a prepaid aol card that gets you 'free' access numbers for most areas. You just buy more minutes to top up in the same way that you buy 'phone cards.
I think we bought the first card from Walmart but they definitely keep them at Target ( near the prepaid mobile 'phone cards) and you buy an original set up card for $14.99 which gives you 500mins.
I know it's more than access4free but its an alternative worth considering if you don't want to be limited by the 600mins from them.

Thanks for the tip Farida but the maximum you pay for access4free is $10 for unlimited access in any month...

Chrisj, how does it differentiate between you checking for e-mail or accessing the web, or am I acting thick?[msneek]

The sign up fee is $4.99 and you get the first 10 hours free. If you use more than 10 hours, you pay $1 per hour up to a maximum of $10 in any month. So if you can do everything in less than 10 hours, it's $4.99 but only for the first time you use it.

so, if you are on a limited 'phone - ie a rental home's phone - how do you pay for the extra time 'cos I assume that they can't bill you at the home you are at 'cos that would cost the owner of the home........or am I missing the point?

When you sign up you give credit card details and they charge your usage to that
