    We use HIFX they fees are included within the rate and they are always very competetive. You also do not pay each time you transfer money.

    We have used them several times to transfer to USA and France and have been very happy.

    If you open a Citibank UK account you can also open a linked US$ account. Ditto £ and $ savings accounts. You get UK£ and US$ cheque(check) books and a debit card for use from either account - including ATM.

    You can transfer instantly on-line or by telephone between any account and get the commercial rate(spot - 50 points). The UK savings account pays 3.75% - US accounts negligble interest.

    Provided you keep a total of £2,000(or US$ equiv) there are no charges.

    Travelex also offer a great rate for one off transfers and give the market rate and no charges!!
