A good and cheap way to stay in touch in the parks if your group split up is to purchase 2-way radios from Walmart $7 each, these had a range of 2 miles. Also great for the younger kids to play with.

Sadly Cypress Gardens has been closed for some time and although they do intend to re-open it , there will be rides rather than peaceful gardens. Splendid China closed within the last year and there are no plans to reopen.

Yes, but there are other alternatives if you want to fit in a relaxing day. One of the best is a day out in Winter Park with its gardens, 'urban village' atmosphere, boar trip, walks, galleries and so on. Also, if you do not mind starting a bit early and travelling for 90 minutes, Silver Springs is wonderful.

Lots of great ideas here - thanks.
What channel was the Celebration programme on? Is it the sort of thing that will be repeated?
