We went last December and really enjoyed it.
The whole atmosphere was really christmassy (is that a word?). We like Christmas a lot (married and had one child born near Christmas) so we loved all the extra detail. The parade (which we missed) is a special parade, Wishes was an enhanced version of Wishes and fantastic.
They had special events all around the park, Twas the Night Before Christmas show, Celebrate the Season in front of the Castle. Christmas Story-telling. Groups of Carol singers dotted around the park. Free hot chocolate with cookie and photo (small and not very good to be honest, the photo not the choc/cookies).

    Is it worth it?
I know people who have said 'No' because in the first two weeks of December the lines are small during the day anyway. These people are probably looking on it as a chance to ride the rides with no lines.
As I said we loved it because it was SOOO Christmassy (still not sure if that is a word) and we went for the special atmosphere. We went on 14th December and because of the lovely weather didn't feel in the Christmas mood....until MVMCP....then we were put in full on Christmas mode.

Oh, and all the characters had their Christmas oufits on.
We wandered out at the end and snow was falling on Main Street USA.

We did it and I can only say we will do it again this year.

There are also some pictures dotted around in the Photo section of this forum so have a gander at :

As to buying tickets, we rang the number in the US (call charges are very reasonable, you'd be surprised) and they gave us a reference. We then picked them up at the Will Call booth at the Ticket Center at Magic Kingdom the day we arrived in Florida. The reference and ID is needed.

    HTH,

    Brizzle.

Quite a busy night and the time flies by, our 3 kids (9, 13 & 16) all enjoyed it for different reasons and it's certainly worth the money.

You can find the tickets here,

No sign of tickets being an sale yet though, we bought last years in October.

A wonderful warm up (or cool down, it was freezing the night we went!) for xmas away from home, really got us in the mood for xmas! Also a great discounted way to see the MK at its best and not use up a day of your park hopper!!

TIP: Ride the rides while the first parade is on! We were the only people on Splash Mountain for 15 minutes!

MVMCP= great christmas fun and magic.

Wonderful time last year dispite very cold weather (We froze). Really made it feel like Christmas for one and all. Well worth the money and we hope to do it again another year.
