Biometric passports

hi any 1 help? my family &I have new passport's issued Aug 03 does this mean ok to travel under the visa waver program or not? we were there Oct03 plus booked to go Oct 04. This Bio passport things a good/great idea I think.(As I am Military & I know how importantly we need this kind of system)ASAP

Hi there

Yes you can still travel under the visa waiver programme with your passport until its due for renewal. Mine is not due for renewal for another 3 years and the Passport Office confirmed its ok until then -at renewal it will then be replaced with one of the new biometric ones.
