We're going on a Thursday, so with any luck, it may not be too busy.

Ann-Marie, we went last year on a Thursday and it was empty when we got there. Think its
just luck of the draw to be honest.

Mind you there is something else to think about, if most people go to get their cars before
their luggage, then the place will be heaving, so if you stay behind it should be
empty by the time you get therehehehhe oh well
Chrisj
Very funny! (Lol)
Well maybe I'll just toss a coin and decide when I get there then!

Just make sure ALL drivers are present at the car hire desk as they ALL need to sign the Dollar documentation otherwise they will not be insured. I know Dollar will let only the lead driver sign but it is important that you know that if you drive the car and have not signed the Dollar contract then you are NOT insured and could end up in very hot water if you have an accident.

Does this mean that if we don't both sign (e.g. because we weren't both ASKED to sign), the one who didn't sign isn't insured? This is a bit worrying as it's hit and miss whether we are both asked to sign the Dollar documentation - more often than not, they only ask me to sign even though we are both at the desk (which is okay for us as I do the vast majority, if not all the driving). I wonder how many people have come unstuck by this due to not knowing??

That's exactly what it means I'm afraid. I know we have done this too in the past but will be both signing from now on.

We have been lucky and never had to queue, we both always sign too even though I do most of the driving as I get car sickness when my darling rally driver husband drives!!!
