On avarage shopping trip to tesco's i may end up with a max 7 carrier bags, on a recent trip to florida, I visited walmart on the 192 spent $108.oo and ended up with 27 carriers ( one carrier only contained a packet of toothpaste!!) whats a matter with these checkout people?

They have to put different things like cleaners and uncooked and cooked meats in different bags......so if you send it down the checkout in ones and twos..thats how they pack......if you put all colds ....all frozen.....all uncooked.......all cleaning stuff...etc together....then you get less bags........

Tesco home delivery put one item of cleaning stuff in each bag, mind you they make good bin liners so shouldn't complain.[msnsmile2]

Last time we were at our villa we ended up with a cupboard full of Walmart & Publix carrier bags. Seems such a waste to just throw them away.

Walmart is just outside our villa community gate, so it's handy for us just to return them for recycle.

Speaking of Tesco, the teller always ask if you need help to pack your shopping, I'm halfway packing my shopping before someone turns up to help, happens all the time.

I have never been to walmart - I can't wait to go and see if I can break the 27 bag record.
Apparently there is going to be a Super Walmart just a mile away from our development...... I feel a mamouth shopping spree coming on!
