We are always amazed at how many bags they use. Obviously no threat of a carrier bag tax in sight. We usually save them up and get the children to walk back down to Walmart and put them in the recycle bin.

We always use them as rubbish bags in all of our villa wastebins. We have one in every room, so this works well and saves money.

I also wrap any food bones, waste that won't go down the waste disposal, etc. in at least two WalMart bags before putting them in the trash can and this helps to keep any animals away (my big bins are stored outside).

I have never been to walmart - I can't wait to go and see if I can break the 27 bag record.
Apparently there is going to be a Super Walmart just a mile away from our development...... I feel a mamouth shopping spree coming on!

The bags they use are that flimsy that I suspect they would not hold that much before splitting anyway [msnwink]

I wish they would let you pack your own bags, it would speed up the checkouts and cut down on the number of carrier bags

We do the same as people here - they make great bin liners [msnsmile]

Obviously our local Tesco's home delivery team have had training with the Walmart checkout operators. They bring you shopping to the door in boxes, so it cannot be a problem with the bags splitting, but you at best get two or three items in a bag![msnwink]
