We have always been a family of skiers!! My daughter was 6 years old before she actually realised that other people had holidays that didn't involve swooshing down a mountain in the snow!!! She first skied for herself aged 18 months on a plastic pair from Toys-R-Us with an extending dog lead attached to the back of her restraint harness and Kevin's belt.
We've been to a number of different places, but our favourite, for the skiing, was in Arizona. You ski with the Apaches on their mountain. The only time it got busy was during the weekend, and for the rest of the time we had the pistes almost to ourselves. Their hotel was beautiful as well.

Yep!
The teens inheritance is being spent on a new villa at Calabay Parc at Tower Lake!!! We are taking them out at Easter to see the family pile of dirt!!!!!![]()

We went to Austria this Feb for the first time and the kids loved it (and we did okay[:I]). We will probably go next year even though almost all of the kids inheritence is already spent and I want to try Vermont and maybe do a 2 centre holiday![]()

A few people on here know that we used to run a ski chalet party company. It was a few years back now and was at Chatel in the French Alps. All my family can ski well, though we havent been for a couple of years now. Europe is great, though you have to go high to ensure snow. Somewhere like Les Trois Vallees in France. Our fave place to go is the good old USA where you dont have to worry about the snow because they make their own!!! I love Lake Tahoe ( ski by day and gamble Vegas style by night), Killington in Vermont and Mammoth as Ana suggests. And Lake Louise in Canada. With the £/$ so favourable, it may be cheaper to go to the US or Canada than Europe. Though be careful of the timing as Jan is very cold and Feb full of school kids. I would say early December or March.
