We bought a family annual policy with virgin last year, it runs out in the middle of our planned holiday this year though, so we will need a new one. We paid £99 last year for this and Ray got air miles.

Having just turned to the magic age of 65, our Norwich Union premium doubled.
we got World Wide cover for 2 for £86 from M & S. Even Saga could not compete with that!

We tried Saga for the golden girls thinking that a speciality company would offer cheaper rates for pensioners. We quickly went somewhere else when the quote came back at over £300 for a single trip, worldwide policy !

Our annual policy is around £84.99 (2 adults and a child) from www.insureandgo.co.uk while the single trip, pensioner policy was £124 from www.gotravelinsurance.co.uk.

The cover is fairly standard on both.

We use http://www.insureandgo.com/ I paid £60 for joint anual cover last year (excluding baggage which is on my household policy).

Hmmm - is it OK to put that link in?

We use http://www.direct-travel.co.uk and have done for years. They usually take some beating for annual policies. Current on line quote is £72 for a family policy (it was only £50 last year). There's only 4 of us but I just tried it with 2 adults and 7 kids and it still came up the same price! 7 seems to be the maximum. Imagine having to pay airfares for that lot! An added bonus is that they will include "kids" up to age 23 if still in education - about the only financial advantage I've seen so far of having offspring at university! Medical cover is 10 million, not sure about the other limits as like Chris I've mislaid the paperwork but as I recall everything looked OK/adequate.
