    villa renting

    Hello,
We are renting a villa from the orlando villas site next year, and are considering renting in the Clearwater area the year after. Can anyone reccommend a website similar to this one that will cover that area?

There's not one I know that specifically covers the gulf coast, but you can try: http://www.avisvacations.com/resorts...ter_villas.htm

    http://www.gulfcoastrentals.com/flor...clearwater.htm

I just put "Clearwater villas" on a google search and these 2 look the only relevant ones.

There are not that many villas in Clearwater, mainly condos, and even a condo is more expensive than a villa in Orlando. The Naples area has a fair number of villas ( I know this because my management co have an office there) but again quite expensive.

I've been hunting recently for something in Clearwater and drew a blank. Best bet is Sarasota in my opinion.
It depends how many people in the group. I found villas for 6 on www.cyberrentals.com and www.greatrentals.com

When we went to Clearwater for the night-we stayed at The red Roof inn and had a humongous room overlooking the beach. The room musthave been 30 long by 16 wide plus bathroom. There were two queen sized beds in it a sofa, table and cooking facilities. It was more like a suite really. We also had a balcony.

It cost $100 for the nightbut they may do a weekly rate. You were in walking distance of all the bars, shops and restaurants. We thought it was lovely and there was car parking too.

It had a good sized swimming pool and the beach was right opposite.
