Depends on when you're wanting to fly, as I said above for 5 of us it's £1520 for flights with US Airways from Gatwick, don't forget that kids over 11 are classed as adults on scheduled flights.

If you're going during school hols then prices will be higher for both scheduled and charter flights as will villa rental prices.

Some of the flight companies buy flights in and you can buy them well in advance. For 2005 they are only selling upto end of april but at an inflated price.

The prices for May have not been released and people are clutching at straws when they are quoting after May as they are just adding a percentage on and cannot guarantee the fares.

What they can quote is this years prices and normally they go up approx £10-£15 on the previous years prices.

I decided not to do charter again because I honestly didn't feel as though they knew what they were doing. They had us changing seats whilst we were taxiing - as they'd made a mistake when allocating seats to able bodied pax and didn't notice until we pulled back. The way they explained the necessity for this made some of the passengers flip and want to get off the plane. The service as far as the kids were concerned was not good, ie nothing to keep then occupied and no special kids meals. They were v unhappy all the way, which made for unhappy parents when we arrived.
I'm sure it's changed now, and it's good to hear that some people use charter flights and have good experiences, but it was enough to put me off while we still have young ones to think of!

I have to say i am not a great fan of Airtours at all.

I would say that Virgin are great i have flown with them on quite a no of occassions and had not problems, i have to agree that charter are not great but are a great deal on prices.

I agree with the others try the link at the top of the forum and i am sure they will be able to do something for you and your family.
