that sounds horrible, do you have to have the A/C running for most of the year ?

No..the heatings on for 6 months.....then the A/C takes over......if we are lucky we get a break from high bills spring and fall.......for a few weeks......

but last year my A/C was on for 6 months to keep the house feeling dry........it may only be in the 70s too.....

    Chrizzy,
Perhaps we haven't got it as bad as we think, at least we only have to have the heating on for part of the year and never have to worry about A/C over here. Not worth fitting that for the amount of hot days we usually get.[msnwink][msnsmile2]

I live in a loft in Windsor and last year when we had the heatwave it got so hot in there, even with windows open, I had to go check in to a hotel at Heathrow !!I'm hoping this year wont be the same heat.
