Citywalk movie and meal deal

For $19.99, you get a ticket to a movie at the Cineplex plus a meal in one of most of the Citywalk restaurants including Hard Rock, Motown Cafe, Nascar, NBA, the Latin Quarter, Jimmy Buffets Margaritavilla or Pastamore. Meal includes coffee or soft drink and tip.
Looks like a good deal on the face of it. But is has a downside. When the restaurants see the ticket, they dont exactly fall over themselves to find you a table. There is a limited selection of meals you can have ( you get a list of about six) and the portions seem to be smaller than what everyone else is eating ( the sirloin steak was 6 oz!!) And with the tip pre-paid, dont expect much chat up from you server. Given that the cinema is only $8 anyway, not really such a great deal.

The gals did this at Christmas while we went to Charlies Lobster House (don't bother!) and they reported much the same as Julie, pretty iffy service etc.

I have heard about this deal (and similar others) before, but the problem is that a movie is the last thing that many people (including ourselves) want to waste time on a trip to City Walk. I thought there were plenty of other places to have a good time? (Unless, of course, one wanted to pack off the kids and seniors to the movie while the adults have fun )
