On the subject of packing, do children have same luggage allowance as adults? We're flying US Airways in May (1st trip for kids). They are tweenagers and have lots of "stuff"!Still a little confused about how many bags+weight we can take. Any frequent flyers out there help me? Also where can you buy decent waist bags in the UK that won't embarass the children!!![:I]
Yes from memory if they have a seat then they have an allowance. You might want to check
with the airline themselves as they might have a different allowance to others.
Waist bags, do you mean Bum Bags, Most shops sell them in all funny colours now as well

Like Chris says, if they have paid for a seat then they are entitled to the same luggage allowance as everyone else, check with the airline though as different ones allow different weights. We usually fly with virgin and they seem to have a more than generous allowance. In Premium you can take two cases each, so for our family of four that would be eight and we rarely take more than two. Don't forget if you are renting a car you have to get all those cases in, we usually have a seven seater for six of us (grandparents come too) and with 4 cases between 6 of us it is a squeeze.[msnwink][msnsmile2]
