    where can you buy british bread in orlando area

    Does anybody know of any store that sells british style bread all i could find last time was slimcea type

    just found a whole page on british bread and the shops to find it in on page 13 so this is prob an old topic for everybody but at least it puts it back on page 1 with new updates

    We've had this discussion before somewhere, I'm sure. Try using the search facility at the top of the page, it's v. handy.

    I [u]think</u> that the general concensus was the the Italian bread from Publix was voted the most similar to British bread. We bought it when we were over earlier this month and it is the same taste as loaves we get over here, just a bit smaller in size. You'll find it in the bakery section with the rest of the fresh bread.

    Yes, Publix is the only place to go to buy decent bread in Florida in my opinion

    The Italian bread is lovely from Publix too. The nearest to fresh British bread we found!

    Well have you tried Albertsons they do a number of special breads from all over Europe. The one they call 'Great Plains' is very nice. There about $2.50 a loaf and they don't make that many per day but they do some real different ones.
