    Bus from Sanford

From April 4, it will be possible to get from Sanford airport to almost anywhere in Orlando (but not Polk County) for $1.25.

The first public bus service from Sanford airport (Lynx route 33) is being launched with hourly service (Monday to Friday).

Now it might take three hours to get to the main villa areas in Kissimmee, but it took that on a recent trip when using a Coach USA shuttle bus, which must have stopped at every hotel in International Drive on the way. That cost $21.

At least on a Lynx bus you'll get a bit of the real Orlando experience and probably a bit of a thrill ride thrown in for free.

Also on the same day, the excellent route 55 on US 192 is being extended to Publix supermarket at Four Corners. Polk County may get some bus service yet!

Which Publix is that Scamhammer? The one on 192 or the new one near Highlands Reserve.
