Child Car Seats

Hi Everyone

We've booked our car hire with Dollar and have arranged to pick up a child car seat when we get there.

What I want to know is, as we don't pay for the seat until we arrive at MCO, if we change our mind and decide to take our own (as recommended by many on this forum) do we need to let Dollar know in advance that we don't require one or can we just tell them when we arrive?

Check with your agent but from our experience Dollar ask fresh at check in anyway so I dont think there will be a problem we were actually told one year they did not have one for us at first but then managed to find one, horrible one at that which is why we never used theirs after that we had to clean it and put the cover through the wash when we got to the villa

Pretty sure that you will have to let them know in advance as it wil change the booking (I suspect they would charge you for it regardless), you could try going to www.dollar.com, click on help - they have an online chat for Q&A's

I had the gold all inclusive deal with dollar which include the car seat but I took my own and just told them at the desk on arrival - glad I did as they were grotty!!

Thanks Guys, think I'll double check with Dollar, just to be on the safe side, as I will definitely be taking ours. They do sound rather grubby from what everyone is saying.
