Publix has so many different kinds of cereals and they do have Nestle cookie crisps also so no problem on that part. I dont think also there is a problem bringing cereals from home either into the US.

mmm, the IHOP cinnammon apple pancakes are fantastic

It is always worth getting some cereal in as well though and as people have said Publix, or Walmart/Walgreens/etc.., have a baffling amount to choose from (ones you've heard of and even more that you haven't). The land of excess in all respects.

I always have to bring a big bag of Kelloggs Fruit Loops home for my sister when I go. I wish they still made them here.

We came home with 8 packets of Fruit Loops at one stage and even got as far as ringing up Kellogg's in the UK to ask if we could get them anywhere here - the answer was "No"

But we've now discovered Post's Cranberry & Almond Crunch... and no, you can't get that in the UK either!

If you want to see what sort of foods are avaialable then you can have a look at the publix website and check out the stores at www.publix.com

If you want to be really super organised you can make up your grocery list online and print it, that way if you are shopping after the flight or just want to speed up the process you can maybe delegate some to other members of the party (perhaps make a dairy list etc) and get it done quicker.

THey sell Weetabix, Cornflakes Rice Crispies, cookie Crisp etc, but they also have Lucky Charms aswell as frootloops - avoid these two, they are addictive - and you can't buy them in the UK !!!
You will find there is no problem looking for food - even Heinz baked beans are in the " Ethnic section" at Publix. I have had fussy children stay with me who have all enjoyed every food there- and I love shopping over there - the very thought of PUblix gets me excited [ Yep doesn't take much, I know]
