I dont know of one that end. The nearest one would be Kissimmee Lanes which is just off 192 at the eastern end just past the airboat rides and behind Sonnys BBQ. There is another one further on on 192 towards St Cloud at the corner of 192 and Michegan.

Does anyone know if this bowling alley is still there, this thread is a couple of years old.

No there is not one up that end, I am league bowler of some 29 years and have a property up that end of the 192.

I think Esprit is right, I have seen one up that way past Walmart going to towards Kissimmee Town. There is another one on Sand Lake Road near International Drive Jcn. It is set back off the road near a golf shop (can't remember name).

This brings back memories....no bowling centre at the 27 end of 192. Last time I played in Florida (a few years ago) there was one behind TGI Fridays off I Drive and one near Florida Mall.

Where do you play Paul? I live in Manchester and used to play the Silk Cut National League and other comps.
    Regards, Mark

The one up from the Florida Mall is still there. I picked up a new ball at Christmas. Less than half the price they are here.

I play at Bexleyheath, have done since 1974. I play in a trios and two of us have bowled together since I started. Him and his wife are coming out to Orlando with us in a months time.

I remember the Silk Cut League. That's going back a bit now[msnwink] I've been a league bowler since 1976 stated at Streatham in South London.

Although we played in the Silk Cut for 3 years, we never got to play further south than Birmingham, Wolverhampton etc. We did win the final in 1996 at Nottingham bowl. Played the Airport Bowl at Heathrow in a Team GB ranking event, different standard than my 205 average (at the time).

Apart from the cheapness of bowling balls, I bought some Dexter SST IV shoes for $35 at Beltz Outlet, £100 in England at the time.

205 good average! even after all these years can't seem to make it more than a 165. Still did get picked for the seniors for Dorset Ladies this year. Hubby plays in the European Corporates every year so get to go away a lot which is nice. Vienna for the 3rd time this year [msnsmile]

    Hi Guys

There is a bowling alley at the end of the 27 in Cleremont, turn left off the 27 onto the 50 and it is about half a mile down on the left.

    Happy bowling.

    Shirley,

I have bowled at Streatham, in fact I met my wife in the Cat's Whiskers back in 1977.

Played at the Nottigham bowl as well, represented BT London there many years ago.
