    Kennedy Space Centre travel

    Hi everyone,

Posted a couple of weeks ago about the ease of getting around Orlando without a car, thanks for all the help!

To follow up, has anyone got out to Kennedy without a car? I.e. are there Lynx buses (checked the websites, not so sure) or anything that goes out there?

Am wondering whether to buy the much cheaper pass for KSC from here with the rest of my tickets (£15ish) or buy an all-inclusive deal from Thomas Cook which includes transport (£37). I'm reluctant to do the latter as I'm sure it can't cost £22 to get out there and back once you're in the USA.

    Thanks,
    Andy

I assume that you are staying in a hotel, in which case many do arrange trips etc out to KSC.

As for the cost, when we book a via our hotel a return trip to Disney is about $10.00.

KSC is about an hours drive away and therefore I would have thought that it would be around $20 - $25.00 each, so you might be better off waiting until you get out to Orlando.

That said there is something to be said about having everything safely booked before you travel.

Might be worth ringing your hotel to find out if they offer this sort of service and if so at what cost.

We always drive, just means we can leave when we want to, or go off somewhere else
    to explore.

    Its not a bad drive

I could imagine that a taxi to and from KSC would easily cost well in excess of $100. It's a round trip of about 90 - 100 miles altogether.

There is a coach company who do rides to just about everywhere and for the life of me I can't remember their name at the moment!! I know that you can buy a book of tickets from them for journeys to different places. Hopefully someone can rescue me with the name and contact details, PLEASE!!! Then you can find out for yourself which would be the better deal.

Mears Coaches and transport - My husband remembered it!!
