The water parks pavements can get extremely hot in the summer months, although Disney try and counteract this problem with cold water sprays, the best way to ensure your children don't have any difficulty whilst running around and also in the water areas is to purchase some Beach/Sand shoes. They are waterproof material on top and plastic bottomed so they can stay on all day in and out of the water.
These can be purchased at Disney but you can purchase cheaper alternatives from supermarkets, such as Publix and Walmarts. Clarks in the UK have also started doing them.
