Dollar rentals

I went on the dollar web site, as we are travelling over on 29th April to Sanford, the price for the 7 seater minivan is $253 - Does anybody know does this price include the insurance needed or will extras be added before picking up the car? This is our first time to book everything seperately as normally we go for a package deal!!!!

as you are quoting in dollars, i would assume you have used the US website, (.com) they do not normally come with the insurance's included in the price by default. The .co.uk site will probably have all the insurances added in ,except the pick up/airport taxes.
However , have you tried the site that is advertised on this forum www.uscarhire.co.uk , they offer very good rates and come with insurances.

Hi Tricia, what your getting in known as the Base rate, exclusive of everything. If you try the link Wilf & Sarah mention, it will give you an all inclusive rate likewise if you try Dollar.co.uk.The terms & conditions usually state what is included.

Hi Tricia

Have you looked at the prices for car hire on this website, as they are really competitive. Are you going for a week, as that price seems really cheap. I have checked on Florida Car hire and for 2 weeks it will cost £430 with Dollar, this includes all taxes and insurances, additional drivers and tank of fuel.

I am presuming for a week it would be half that.

You have to be careful with car hire as sometimes you do get stung when you pick up!
