    Smoking in the parks

What are the rules of smoking in the theme parks, i have visited some threads that have been giving smokers a real bashing.
I know there are certain areas that you can smoke in , but where are they, are they well sighned? I am a considerate smoker and wouldn,t dream of lighting up in a restaurant but am i going to be made to feel uncomfortale for lighting up outide, in public.

There are smoking areas in the parks - they are well marked on the park guide maps and well signed too [msnsmile]

I really wish that there were no such 'smoking areas' in any non-smoking place. Seems like giving smokers an escape clause to poison themselves.

Let's not let this get into an anti-smoking thread.

I've seen lots of people smoking in non-smoking areas of the parks, often within sight of Disney employees who have done nothing about it.

But then its nothing new. It happens on the trains to and from work here too [xx(][xx(]

    Hi Folks

Don't forget that all the restaurants are now no smoking.

We were at AK last Thursday and I spotted a no-smoking area.

It was well away from the rest of Joe Public-and all done rather discreetly which I thought was nice.

(I thought they were in a VIP area at first!)

Some of the parks are better signed than others. You really need a map, and even then you have to look closely. The give away is usually the ashtray bins. Find one of these and you're safe. Epcot is the easiest place to find the smoking areas because it is also the most open of the Disney parks.
