drop in exchange rate

The pound has lost quite a bit today - I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on which direction it will go.

It's still at £1 = $1.80
Not exactly a nose dive!!!!

It did this a couple of weeks ago and then went back up a few points and nudged 1.9 again.

watch a business programme last night, it said that the dollar would most probley drop even more against the major currencies as the US trade decifet is hugh and exports low, so to encourage export they would weaken the dollar to entise foriegn buyers to buy American goods and itlooked like the dollar would stay low for the forseeable future
