Depth of Pools?

Hi all..

In looking through the villas for rent on these sites, I noticed that a lot of the pools seem to be entirely one depth, of maybe 3 feet or so deep. Is this how they are built, or are my eyes decieving me and there is actually a shallow and deep end of the pools?

Mine is 3 foot one end and 5 foot the other. Some go from 3 feet to 6 feet. I dont lnow of one the same depth all over.

Mine is 3 feet to 6 feet (30 feet long), and I believe most pools do have varying depths, but of course they can be custom built too, so it's best to check with the owner of the villa you are interested in about this. They will happily give you the info.

I have never come across one the same depth all over either. Mine is 3-6 feet

There is always a deep end and the pool graduates in depth from one side to the other. By the time I have walked a couple of feet past the middle point of my pool, I'm almost submerged!!!! Look for the entry steps and that will be the shallow end.

I've never stayed in a Villa were the pool was all one depth. They have always been 3ft at shallow end and 5ft-6ft at the "deep" end.

I dont' think your eyes are deceiving you but if you had xray eyes to see to the bottom of the pool you can see the depth is determined by the graduated floor, but on the surface they all will look level.

Our pool is 3' - 5' deep, shallow end having 3 steps in, deep end 1 step. I'm a shorty and didn't want it too deep for my own comfort! [msnscared]
