I don't know - we do not pass car hire enquiries to Charter so they must have done that off their own backs. They should not be selling car hire to people we refer to them for flights.

When I filled in the flight request form on this site, when it was completed it took me to a page offering car hire - looks like your page but different name ?flightsflorida.com.[?]

Sorry, I did not know that Charter were not supposed to sell Car Rental to referred flight customers. In any case, I checked with them today and they asuured me that we were fully covered and did not need to succumb to Dollar's ususal high pressure salesmanship.

when we were quoted flight prices by charter travel they put this comment on their e-mail - "The majority of these flights must be booked in conjunction with a car, please let me know what size vehicle you would prefer and I can detail the rates to you." so we booked the car thro' them! Do you know if the car plus insurance will be comparable with what you offer? I actually thought that you were all connected and that the car and ins that we were booking was with you!

Also we have had a few friends come back from Orlando this summer and they were asked to pay additional costs for insurance when they picked up their car, even although they had paid everything (or so they thought) up front before they left teh UK. Will we be asked to pay any other fees, if so are they necessary?

Charter do have certain flights they have to be "seen" to be selling as a package. I'd ask them for their prices and see how they compare to ours though [msnwink]

Our car hire is fully inclusive - all insurances that you need are included. I imagine your friends booked through another source?

i think we're probably too late as we've booked it and paid a deposit and they did so that it could not be altered so I reckon we couldn't cancel it now.

One of our friends booked a flydrive with Virgin and the other booked with My travel.

I know the package option seems easier, but we have been booking ours separate for many years now, since we wised up to the so called FREE car etc. Nothing is FREE lets be honest [msncry]But, now we are in touch with this lovely site, and the new lower prices on the car hire (click on link above) run by this sites owners, we will be getting our car from HERE for next April THEY ARE GREAT PRICES GUYS[msnsmile][msnsmile2]
