About an hour to an hour and a half, depending on the traffic. Well worth the journey though, especially if you last went twelve years ago as you'll find some changes.

Yes, an hour to an hour and a half sounds good. Lots of road work going on the I4 but no major traffic build up.

    Tyson 1212,

Choose the day of the week you go there if your schedule allows. BG tends to be quieter in the beginning of the week, getting busier towards the weekend. But you also have to consider the heavier rush hour traffic early in the week and on balance, Wednesday is probably the best day to visit BG. Start early, so that you arrive there by the opening time of 9am (in season). Although the queues are not as long as in Orlando, time can pass quickly with 3 major coasters and several smaller rides, besides the animal attractions.
