Hi everyone,i hope i am right in thinking that my son who is now 16, will be travelling to florida with us in Aug on his 'childs' passport which runs out in 2007 will be ok.

That is fine. We have just sent off for a passport for our 15 yearold and been told it will still be valid for US travel next year when he will be 16.

If its his own passport its fine.
If he is still on your passport at 16 he needs his own.
From October 2004 all children will need there own passport to visit the USA
