    Hello Dawsy

Im not aware of anywhere that rents the consoles although I know games can be rented at blockbusters, depends on how much you want to spend but you could consider buying one out there but they are not compatible with the UK so no use bringing it back, have you considered asking the villa owner whether they have considered adding one to the home,a lot of homes have them now and given the relatively small cost it is something I would personally add to my home on request if I didnt already have one that is

Thanks for you reply, yes I have asked the owners and they told me they didn't have one because they get taken!

Possibly Rentway may rent out game consoles. There are 5 locations in Orlando and 1 location in Kissimmee on John Young Parkway - phone # 407-847-9940.

As Lesley said the playstation ones are so cheap to buy that it would probably be cheaper than renting. You may even pick one up at the flea market second hand which will do for the trip. You may find the kids are happy not to have one, if they've got their pool and if there are any basketball hoops etc where you are staying. If they are that keen do they not have gameboys that you could take with you, that way if they want to sit near the pool they can.

From my experience I do not know of any owners that have lost a playstation,in fact my games collection has grown as Uk guests buy a game cheap and kindly leave it at the Villa for other guests.Obviously though if the owner has no intention of providing you with one then there isnt a lot you can do about that.

I took my kids gameboys with us last time, mainly for use on the plane but the chargers wouldnt work on US voltage with an adaptor so once they had ran out they were useless.

I'm sure you can get voltage converter's from Radio Shack in the Florida Mall that way you can charge UK Game Boys and the like on US voltage.

The last villa we stayed in didn't have a Playstation so we bought one and now take it everytime we go, they are so cheap now.

According to my techno freak hubby you can now buy a PAL (UK system) to NTSC (US sysytem) converter, if that makes sence!
