Parking in Downtown Disney

I cannot remember where we parked the car when we went to Downtown Disney the last time. This time though, our group will be splitting up. Some of us are taking the kids to Disney Quest while others will go to the Disney Marketplace for shopping etc. So that no one is inconvenienced, are there any parking tips for DD?

Well if you park in the middle you will all have equal walk! When we go we are usually visiting marketplace so we park right down the end (if we can get there!). Some days it is dead easy and others it is like a madhouse.

You can always aim to park somewhere memorable, like close to Planet Hollywood (cental ish...) so all parties know the general area that the car is parked in. If you are splitting up, take walkie talkies or arrange a rendez-vous point and time.

Whenever we park at DTD we always make a point of remembering which building or bill board is directly in front of us. That way if you can find the building / bill board all you have to do is walk from there to through the parking lot and you should locate your car easily.

We also tie a ribbon to the arial so that we can spot our car amongst all the others.

We were over at DTD a couple of weeks ago and went a few times, and to say it was busy was an understatement!!!

The best places (or only places) we found to park without driving round in circles for half an hour was way up by cirque de sole....blah blah (can never remember how to spell it!!! which is ok if your going to West Side, but most times we wanted the MarketPlace.

Apart from that, in the Past I try and park centrally going in the PI entrance.
