Just my opinion but there are a lot of Facebook groups specifically for Orlando that are popular.
I am friends with a couple of people who I’ve “met” through this site.
I still visit this forum from time to time and I always recommend the villas and car hire from this site.
I still like to look at old trip reports on here, I especially like to read ones that I wrote from past trips��

I think you are right Margaret. There are numerous Facebook groups and I myself am a member of a few where advice can be sought and given.

Also the forum was frequented by many owners of which I was and still am one but I know many have decided it’s time to retire from renting and have sold their properties.

I still look on the forum from time to time and if there is anyone asking for advice or information that I am able to offer I will do so.

I think times have changed with the social media sites but the website itself is still my favourite for bookings

I certainly miss the community spirit of this forum. It was a part of my daily routine.

I can see how Facebook has made "old school" forums obsolete, but this particular forum was like a clubhouse and we were all so friendly and respectful. Facebook groups always seem to attract people who just want to cause controversy, or contradict everyone.

Anyway, just my two-penneth.

I agree the Facebook groups seem to have taken over, it’s a shame as I always enjoyed this forum
