    FastPasses for fireworks ?!?!?!!!!!

Please tell me we don't need fastpasses for Disney's fireworks ?

Going in July busiest time I know, but school hols ! Are there still areas in all Disney's parks where you can still see the fireworks without fastpass ? want to keep them for the rides.

    thanks for any tips

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the areas where you get the best views of fireworks are restricted to fast passes. I would be seriously concerned if they were.

You can see the fireworks from pretty much anywhere in the parks. Fastpass would be pointless.

You definiately don't need a fastpass for the fireworks. We've tried the fastpass zoned area a few times. The view is not much different from anywhere else in front of the castle, the only main difference we could see is that it's less crowded as spaces are limited. It just means you can sit on the grass and spread out a little while you wait. Even when we arrived 10 minutes before the fireworks started, there was still plenty of space to move around, so you're not jostling for a spot.

That's really the only benefit I can see, so I wouldn't waste a fastpass if you want to keep them for other attractions. I would only use a fastpass for fireworks if I had a spare on hanging around

I have used a fast pass for the fire works and found it a much better view than we have had before - I would use it again. When the park is busy, normaly you need to get in position a long while before they start, as much as an hour, to get a good position, but if you have a fast pass to the special area you can arrive much later and get a good view. Also, at the end of a long day on your feet, a grass area (astro turf so not muddy) is a great place to sit and rest.

I don't think you can get a FP+ for Wishes fireworks at MK anymore. That area is now used for same day reservations "Wishes Dessert Party".

I thought they decided to discontinue the FP+ options for night time shows.

You could be right Tony, it was January when we last did it and we haven't looked since.

The last time we did it was Feb/March, so it is a while ago.
