Advice on flight/car booking with Ex###ia

Just looking on the sit of Ex###ia for flights and car and tbh' virgin direct november £488...and can book car midsize suv for less than £150...if i booked direct with alamo its over £400....filled all form in and saved it,have emailed them, alamo policy for fuel is take full return full, what else can be charged on arrival as it states this is fully inclusive insurance and all taxes...sounds a flipping great deal to me and respected site to book off also...
Any ideas on if anyone has done the flight/car option thru Ex....ia?
It actually states saving £250...which is about right...

Have found in the past that when you book a flight and either car or hotel together with the flight then the additional component seems to work out cheaper than going direct as it seems to put the 'deal' into a 'holiday deal'. Queried this many years ago when booked flights and a hotel with BA and they told me it put the booking into a holiday category which could offer a deeper discount.

Just watch out if its avis. We did this with BA once waited nearly an hour in queue then waited over another hour for car to be available. Did ask why we had to book a car for a certain time if none were available anyway.

If you also register with Avis Preferred when you book under the BA scheme you can go straight to the garage and collect the keys

Probably wouldnt have made much difference as they had no cars - loads of people were sitting around waiting
