Pay in pounds or dollars ?

We are looking at renting two 7 seat mini vans for 2 weeks in June.
As I have a credit card that has no surcharges for international money purchases is it better to book the vans in dollars or book at the quoted sterling price and let the card issuer convert the rate on the day.

If you book with US Car Hire then we can accept payment in Pounds, Dollars or Euros, whatever is easiest for you.

Yes, the price quoted is fixed (regardless of currency) once you pay your deposit, so the only variation would be if you book in US Dollars then the exchange rate changes between then and paying your balance, the amount when converted to £'s by your card company may be different.
