Alamo Fast Track - is it now called Online check-in?

Just paid my balance for our hire car and got our voucher & confirmation number so thought I would be mega organised and input our details for the Alamo Fast Track service (as I've done plenty of times on previous trips with no problems).

My bookmark that I have saved took me to something titled "Online Check-in Driver":-

I then got a bit worried as my Car Hire voucher email said:-

"PLEASE DO NOT TRY AND SIGN UP FOR ALAMO ONLINE CHECK-IN AS THIS COULD RESULT IN YOUR ORDER BEING CANCELLED AND YOU MAY HAVE TO REBOOK AT A HIGHER COST."

So is Fast Track now called Online Check-in and will I be OK to register # confused! [msnscared]

Hi Lyn - After Roger gave me the go-ahead to use the Alamo Online Check-in, I entered my Supplier Confirmation number and all my booking details where on the next page. All I had to do was confirm some more details, enter an additional driver and my Quick Check-In Confirmation was ready to print.
Not sure why Alamo dropped the name 'Fast Track' ?
Fingers crossed the kiosks at Miami airport are all working fine and we can make a quick get-away [msnsmile2]

We used this online check in when we went back in March and it worked fine. The only bug bear I have now is that I enter all the details of the additional driver at the time and then when I get to the kiosk it made me do it all again!

Please let us know how you got on at Miami, we are going again in March, last year we didn't get on with the kiosks at all.

If we have completed the online check in with Alamo, can we not just go direct to the car pick up point?

Alamo say they will not turn people away who do that, but they really don't like it because it causes a bottle-neck at the exit booth as you have to show your documents, which can be quite annoying for people behind who then have to wait.
