Hi Diane - you asked for an update on how we got on with the kiosks at Miami. Well, overall everything went well. Some things to note:-

* You really have to be very confident and almost defiant about the fact that you can actually use the kiosks because they still seem to think anyone from the UK can't.
* Despite entering all your details online when you sign-up you still have to enter everything again; name, dob, address, all DL info - this is easier said than done after a 9 hour flight and your eyes are playing tricks on you!
* I always send my husband off ahead to chose the car whilst I deal with the kiosk side of things - this has never been a problem in the past but this year they wanted to stop him and wait for me to arrive with the paperwork for 'security issues'. I feel this is simply a waste of time for everyone (especially as everything gets re-checked at the Exit booths anyway).
* At the Exit booths - be prepared with all your paperwork, credit card and DL info to produce for one final verification.

Please let us know how you got on at Miami, we are going again in March, last year we didn't get on with the kiosks at all.
