Visiting AK on a Sunday

I am a bit apprehensive about the day we will be visiting Animal Kingdom because it happens to be Sunday, 25th April 2004. That was the best that I could do given our tight schedule and my repeated cannibalising it to fit in this or that. My worry is that the small park could get overcrowded on a Sunday. I have been reassured that crowds are usually thin in late April and that Sunday, being a non-EMH day at AK, draws only 'moderate' interest. We will surely be there at the time the park opens and stay till it closes at 5pm. But none of us has seen AK before and everyone has his or her heart set on being sure to see something or the other there, which effectively is the whole park. Do people think Sunday is all right?

I think it could be a good day. Many people arrive on Sat and they like to make MK their first park so they don't hit AK until later in the week.
