It's weird, when I zoom in it is definitely a different colour to the grey around the lighter grey boxes with the owner details in - to the left of each post. But I'm not unduly bothered [msnsmile]

PS It's appearing as the same colour as the border around the quote boxes in posts…. my dodgy eyesight!

    Hi John,

I can't seem to get the smiley faces etc to work but I don't know if that is my laptop or the site ....

I've just tracked down both those settings and they were set to grey, but a slightly different shade than the dark grey we are using in other places. I've now set them to use the same dark grey.

Hmm, I just tried it using IE on Windows 7 and it works fine for me there too. What version of Windows are you using? What version of IE?

Are you saying the pop-up window showing the smilies available no longer comes up? Did it come up before the forum re-design as if so I'd expect it to do so now as the forum code is the same - we just changed the colour scheme and this should not affect the way the forums works.

    John,

Just tried this out on Windows 8.1 and IE11 both patched to latest release.

When you click on 'smile' icon in 'quick reply' the choice box appears, however when you click on smile it does not show in the text.

There is a smile after the full stop in this sentence.
