AA will start flying to JFK from both Birmingham and Edinburgh from May 2015. Might be a useful new option to connect to Florida for those in Scotland and the Midlands.

I see Jet2 are now doing low cost flight to New York (Newark) from Manchester, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, Glasgow and East Midlands. Another possible good alternative to get to Florida.
