Despite Florida Car Hire and Florida Car Rental stating that SRQ is a Location neither site seems to 'find it'.

Is it always the case that on a more than four week rental that the car will have to go back to the depot even if just for paper administration?

Seems to be working fine - same result returned via both sites

Works fine for me too. Start typing "Saras" into the location field on the quoter and it appears as a valid option. Or go to the Sarasota Airport page at http://www.uscarhire.com/depots/1784...-arpt-srq.aspx and it's pre-filled in for you .

Here's the section from our FAQ on longer rentals:

Alamo & National:

• Maximum of 330 days in a single rental period

Dollar:

• Florida: Maximum of 56 days in a single rental period
• Other US States / Canada: Maximum of 28 days in a single rental period

If you book a car for a longer period than above, this is permitted, but you will be required to return to any convenient depot at a point within your overall rental that would mean no single segment of the rental exceeds the maximum duration for the area in question.
Once you have placed your order, if you do not advise us otherwise, our supplier will choose a date and location. This can be amended if it is not suitable.

Many thanks, now the date element won't work. Not to worry, I'll try another day it is not that urgent today. On the date element I get a red circle with a line through it similar to the blue circle with a line that comes up to unblock some sites. I'm sure it will all work another time.

Out of interest, do you know what browser (and version) you are using as I've run it through all the major browsers this afternoon and it's working perfectly for me. Obviously if there is an issue with a specific browser, we'd be keen to get it sorted out.
