I've visited Florida twice, 2004/2014 and Epcot was my favourite park last time, but I was very disappointed with Epcot this year, it felt very tired to me. Not much has changed for the better in 10 years although I did really like Soarin. I think the park of the future needs a bit of modernising, if you'll pardon the pun.

I'd give another vote for Discovery Cove. The Dolphin swim was THE highlight of a trip full of highlights!

We went to more parks including Epcot when we went 6 years ago. Even though we are staying 4 weeks we feel that we want to do more than just parks. Parks is hard work[xx(] so we have cut down the the most important for our 7 year old, since she was just 1 last time visiting.

Check out this story by the local CBS affiliate:

It shows a lot of extras that can be done at Discovery Cove (and other parks). My brother is their "producer proposing to his girlfriend at SeaWorld's Discovery Cove".

I've never been, really want to go, but my brother and now fiance love it.

    Into time travel are we;-);-)

A yes for DC from us as well. Though I personally wouldn't do the Cabana.

We were far to busy during the day to have even used it:-):-)

If you just want to lay around, then maybe, but as there is so much to do & see, it's an expensive add on.

Completely agree. I was there the year it opened and it really did feel special, with a vision of the future. But now?...Meh.

It was a bit grubby last time as well. Not kept as meticulously clean.

I did see there are quite a lot of plans to upgrade the park but can't find the link at the moment. I remember Maelstrom in Norway is closing (or may have already to create a new experience based on Frozen. We enjoy browsing for a few hours round the different "countries" and love Soarin

You're right, Steph. Maelstrom is now closed.

As a family we had a day Discovery Cove and loved it, I would say it is worth the cost. Cindy
