    Cool Fishing charter in Clearwater

We had a fantastic day fishing with Captain Gary on Strike Zone Charters in Clearwater. It was the cheapest I found but great value for money. He charges differently according to number of people. We paid $410 for a half day with 3 people. He greeted us with 'what do you want to catch' and we said plenty to eat plus something big. We were not disappointed. I caught about 20 fish personally, though only 2 of the snappers were big enough to keep. I caught yellow fins, lady fish, a puffer fish and cat fish. My husband and son had bigger lines when we got out onto the sea and they each caught a 2 foot grouper, which we took home to eat and they were lovely, and my husband caught a 6 foot nurse shark. Everything we weren't going to eat was released alive apart from some lady fish we used as bait. We didn't go out for meals for the rest of the holiday as the fish lasted us for 3 complete meals. We went in the sea after our trip and it was 88 degrees in the water, lovely.

Have just been out fishing with Captain Gary again. He says that he has had trouble getting international phone numbers to work so suggests anyone calling him who gets the answer phone leaves an email address too.
